Dear Russell

Just wanted to update you on my progress with Emma.

We have increased our weekly sessions from 3 to 5.Now that my children have settled into school I am more flexible.

I am very happy with my progress.I have already given you some very positive feed back about Emma.If it wasn`t for her I would not be achieving this new level of fitness and selfconfidence.I have lost 5 kilos and today I will be able to calculate what inches I have lost from my various body parts.My clothes are looser and I feel better than I have felt in years.

I will be travelling to Ireland (my home country ) in june/July(not sure of the dates) and will be very sad to say goodbye to Emma:-(
In the meantime I will continue to push myself and achieve all the goals that I set out to do in the capable hands of Emma.

The lost cause
Working mum, poor diet, lack of motivation, weak back….this is the scenario Martina faced when she agreed to be my personal trainer but using her broad range of experience in nutrition, dance, kick boxing, Pilates, fitness and weight training she has miraculously managed to turn my health around. Torn ankle ligaments or holidays are no excuse to stop training either – Martina simply modified the program so I can train through my injury and while traveling. Despite chatting and laughing our way through every training session I have been able to achieve great results. No more back pain or expensive chiropractic bills, shorter recovery time from my injury, some healthier food choices (though I’ll always be a chocoholic!) and I even enjoy the gym now, something I didn’t think possible. I still roll my eyes and complain every time she ups the difficulty level but Martina just smiles and says 10 more!

From time to time (when another milestone birthday is looming or your clothesKate personal training bangkok and you are getting very up close and personal) you need to stop and take stock of what's going on below the neck.  Having made this decision, I got Russell on board to help me take action and I'm very glad I did.  He lets me roll my eyes when he tells me about my body's infinite capacity to achieve more, he lets me curse a little under my breath when he sneakily raises the weights for my upright rows and he lets me stop a little, mid-way through my third set of 50 nasty squats (but he ALWAYS manages to coerce me to finish theset....ever so nicely).   I am now running, faster and for longer.  I
can now do more squats than a body should rightfully ever need to do and the other day I actually asked him if I could increase the degree of difficulty of my push ups!  So whilst the walking lunge and I will never be the best of friends, I can say that Russell has helped me spend a little more time in its company and my body is thanking me for it.

One of the best decisions I ever made was to get a personal trainer.I am over 40 and my fitness goal was to improve my cardiovascular and just have the motivation to continue working out on a regular basis.Russell has a great work style and is very professional and flexible at adjusting the fitness program to meet my needs on the spot.Not only did my cardiovascular and stamina improve greatly, I have been working out on a regular basis for over a year.  An additional bonus was to lose 10% of my weight, gained muscle tones and get great comments from my husband!

Having always been an outdoor sports person it was with some hesitation I decided to begin some gym exercises to gain additional muscles and work on that elusive six pack!

As I had never used a gym before I decided to sign up with Russel.

From the first time we met until I finished the program (due to relocating) Russel was extremely professional and a great motivator, which is needed at 6am in the morning! Having explained my purpose he identified a program and also help work on a diet plan.

Over the next months I was trained three times every week with exercises being modified constantly thus the training never became monotonous. From someone who does not like a gym Russel made it fun, effective and an overall great exercise that I became very fond of.

When I began the training I was 78kg (190cm) and I ended up at 86kgs over the course of 6 months and I would without doubt have continued training with Russel had I not moved from Thailand.

Therefore, I would highly recommend him for anyone thinking of using a personal trainer; his enthusiasm, positive attitude and professionalism throughout was an inspiration.

What can I say about Russell? He is the most positive person I know!
He has helped me reach my goals, by motivating me, working hard by my side, always encouraging me to work harder and harder. (Even when I'm being a total bum!) He says there is nothing in this world that is impossible, there is always a way to get what you want in life. If there is something you want, all you have to do is put your mind to it, and go after it! I would recommend to anyone who needs motivation to get what they want such as a kickass body!

I decided to work with a personal trainer 6 months after giving birth to my first helen personal training bangkokbaby girl. The following is true & from the heart:-
I’ve been suffering from very high blood pressure (hypertension) for at least 8 years now. Even though I have undergone multiple lab testing in terms of blood, urine & radiology, doctors are still uncertain of the cause.

Nonetheless, being overweight and unhealthy did not help my cause. I have been taking scores of cocktails of “industrial strength” medication to control my BP.
Many didn’t work, kept me going back to my cardiologists for new “cocktails”. One day, a friend of mine mentioned how important blood circulation is and how my maybe I needed to go down another road in my treatment for high BP, such as regular exercise. I realized that by avoiding the obvious I was doing myself a great disservice.

After almost 3 months of training with you, I have not only changed in dimensions (as my family puts it) but more importantly feel great. It’s the physical improvements that are always discussed; the psychological benefits that naturally accompany exercise are hardly mentioned. My blood circulation has dramatically improved, and as a result my sleeping, eating & working habits have changed for the better.

Dedicating time for working out with you was the best thing I did for myself. Hiring your services eliminated the traditional “don’t have time” excuse. Because I learned that one MUST make time for bettering oneself. It’s the most generous thing one can do for their loved ones. In my case, it was the only choice left.

I am so excited about the progress I have achieved with your advice in training, and I am looking forward to more training sessions as I realize that I can do more and this is just the beginning.

I was was always used to work-outs both in and out of the gym. However, over theSuman personal training bangkok past year I realised that I was neither losing inches or body fat. The fact is, that I had reached a comfort level with my work-outs and as a result was very reluctant to increase the level of intensity. I therefore decided that I needed a fitness trainer who would motivate me to do the needful. Sarah puts me through a rigorous work-out session involving both strength training and rebounding. She is very motivating and knows exactly when to change the excercise routine so that it does'nt get repetitive. Its been almost a year now, and I am trimmer than before and feel very fit. I am able to do excercises that I never thought I could. Thankyou, Sarah for being a wonderful person and fitness-trainer that you are. Please keep up the good work !!

"I started training with Sarah to tone up in time for my wedding. I had two sessions per week with cardio on the rebounder and then floor exercises with weights in my apartment. During this time I fell pregnant but, as my doctor agreed it was safe to do so, I continued to exercise. I felt that it was safer to exercise with a personal trainer as she ensured all the exercises I did were safe for pregnancy, made sure I was in the correct position for each exercise and stopped me from overdoing things.Sarah modified my training regime cutting out cardio work as my blood pressure was high and we cut down from two to just one session per week. We concentrated on toning, stretching and strengthening exercises and continued to work together until I was 27 weeks pregnant. At my wedding (when I was 28 1/2 weeks pregnant) many people were surprised at how slim I'd remained and how the baby weight I gained was only on my stomach. Its been training with Russel for close to a year and have always found him professional, knowledgeable, timely and flexible.
